In another dimension there lay a pile of smoldering ash.
That pile of ash had once been one of the biggest threats to a place known by the name of Neolodge. But thanks to the efforts of one called the Good God, that threat had been stopped.
Temporarily.
In what would appear to anyone who might have been watching, the ash suddenly came to life. It began to spin on the ground, and it then spun up into the air until there was a tornado of ash. That ash soon turned into sand and the tornado into a tornado of sand.
And from the sand tornado emerged the Evil God.
For a few seconds he could only stare at his hands.
Then he let out a cold dark laugh.
“You just can’t defeat the Evil God!”
“What was that?”
“I heard it too! What was it?”
“Who knows, but with what just happened we should check it out.”
The Evil God cringed. He was in no mood to be bothered by the fools that inhabited the castle. So he simply walked through one of the walls.
And emerged in what appeared to be a secret room.
The Evil God was puzzled. The only thing in the room seemed to be an old, dusty horseshoe thing.
He walked over and used his hand to brush some dust off what appeared to be a control panel.
And the portal came to life.
“I hear something coming from the secret room.”
“Quick, go get Forex! If someone’s in there, he’ll want to deal with him.”
See no other choice, the Evil God went through the portal.
Maldone watched as Becca and Gabe emerged from the portal as the dimension they had entered collapsed in on itself.
That foolish Secret Solver. He hadn’t done the smart thing and sent his clone to fight for him.
Seeing as the plan failed horribly, Maldone saw there was no other choice but to flee the area and find shelter until he could find a way off the planet to recover.
He turned away from his hiding place and fled. He didn’t stop running until he was well out of the sight of all those meddling Neolodgers and their help. He cursed them all, hoping that someday, somehow, he’d be able to get his revenge on them.
And boy, if that day came, he’d make them pay.
He found an abandoned laboratory and decided it would make the best hiding out place.
Once inside he was amazed at how many things survived the Domnan invasion. He’d have to take some of the stuff with him when he made his escape.
He put his back to a spot on the wall to get a better look at his new home and ended up pushing something.
Because the portal that had been standing beside him suddenly came to life.
Curious as to what was on the other side, Maldone took two steps to the other side.

Chapter 6
Present day...
“We have found another portal sir.” Said the messenger. “Where?” Said the guy that the messenger was talking to. “You know the planet well, Lord Cheesedemon” Said the messenger. “JUST TELL ME WHERE THE PORTAL IS!!!!!!!!!” Cheesedemon yelled. “It is on the planet known as...” The messenger was cut off. “Where is it?” Cheesedemon lowered his voice. “Neo.....lodge....” The messenger died with that last word. “You,” Cheesedemon pointed at a guy standing in the room. “Sound the alarm, someone has bought a deadly disease here.” He continued. “Yes sir” The guy said, pushing a button. “WARNING, PLEASE EVACUATE THE BUILDING” Came the alarm voice. Cheesedemon stood still. “Sir, aren't you coming.” Said one of the scientists. “No, I have some of my own business to take care of.” Replied Cheesedemon. “Ok then, we will see you soon” Replied the scientist. After this, Cheesedemon was alone.
Five minutes later....
As he stood in front of the portal, which his scientists had rewired to be controlled by thought, Cheesedemon wondered if it was really the kids who had defeated his clone the first time. After deciding to go to Planet Neolodge to deal with the kids even if it wasn't them who activated the portal, he started up the portal, and thought, “Planet Neolodge”. After this the portal glowed, and he stepped through.
A minute later....
“Freeze.” Is the first thing Cheesedemon heard when he exited the portal. He turned around to see guns pointed at him. “What is this about!” Cheesedemon yelled. “This is not Planet Neolodge!” “Actually, it is.” Replied one of the people pointing a gun at him. “It can't be, your weapons are too advanced!” Cheesedemon replied. “Not for the year 3095” Replied the guy. “How is this possible!” Cheesedemon yelled. “Well, we activated our portal so we could go to the past, and after that the portal started to flash, and then you showed up.” The guy replied. “So, this means I can use your portal to teleport to the past!” Cheesedemon laughed manically. “Actually you can't.” The guy informed Cheesedemon. “Why not?” Cheesedemon asked. “Because, you are under arrest for a battle that split the time and space rift apart, making the portals able to go between not only planets, but time itself.” The guy replied. “That was over 1000 years ago!” Cheesedemon replied. “True, but it set into motion the events that will change this future dramatically, because if your battle hadn't happened, those kids that beat you would have stayed in their own dimension and would have never found the portal.” The guy replied. “And why does that matter?” Cheesedemon replied. “Because, it means the enemies that they face after your battle can get reinforcements, because if a portal on a planet is activated, it activates the ones on the same planet that are in the future and past.” The guy finished. “Which means I can help their other enemies defeat them, or at least get them cloned so they can still be defeated, that way they will not disrupt the flow of time!” Cheesedemon yelled. “Which is why we are arresting you,” The guy said. “Take him away.” He told one of his men. “You will regret this!” Cheesedemon yelled.
Five minutes later....
“Contact the kids, tell them, that they never really defeated Cheesedemon.” The guy said to another one of his men. “Right away sir.”
Five minutes later, back in the past....
“Impossible!” Jack yelled. “We watched Cheesedemon die!” “You watched his clone die I am so sorry.” The messenger from the future told Jack. “At least he is locked away.” Jack said in a calm voice. “I was also told to bring you back with me to the future, something about some more technology and other stuff.” The messenger replied. “Also, once you return here, we will have to move our portal to the South Pole, so if you want to get here, you will need to come by some sort of ship.” “Ok, I'll tell the others.” Jack said. “I will have to wait here for you, so I will see you soon.” The messenger replied. “Ok, see ya!” Jack said.

Chapter 5
A few years ago...
“Now that I have tricked those meddling kids into thinking they have defeated me, I can put ahead my plan to find the portal that I have been looking for all my life.” Said a strange man. “It was a good idea to create a clone of yourself, Lord Cheesedemon.” Said the guy standing next to him. “Now, where were we in our search before those stupid kids interrupted me!” Cheesedemon¹ yelled. “We had just heard word of one of the portals getting an upgrade, and it now gives off a special energy signature, that we can trace easily.” Said the other guy. “Good, now do it.” Said Cheesedemon. “Actually, we traced it while you were dealing with those kids.” Said the guy. “Where is it?” Cheesedemon asked. “In a sector not far from here, only about a thousand light-years.” Said the guy. “We leave in an hour.” Said Cheesedemon.
An hour later...
“Is the ship ready?” Asked Cheesedemon. “Yes my lord.” Said the pilot of the ship. “Then let's go find that portal.” Said Cheesedemon.
About half a day later....
“We finally found it!” Said Cheesedemon, “Now, to activate it and get rid of those annoying kids!” He continued. “Not so fast!” Yelled a voice. “Who or what are you!” Yelled Cheesedemon. “I am the one who guards this portal.” Said the voice. 'What is your name?”Cheesedemon asked. “I am known as the wizard, and to use this portal, you have to go past me.” Said the voice, revealing his identity. “If it is so.' Replied Cheesedemon.
One long battle later...
“I guess you have won.”Said the wizard. “Now, give me the watch to activate the portal.” Replied Cheesedemon. The wizard passed the watch to Cheesedemon. “You earned it.” He said. Then the wizard disappeared.
Five minutes later...
“We have the watch, now how do we use it?” Cheesedemon asked the scientists on his ship. “We will have to study it before we can even think of touching any buttons.” Said one of the scientists. “Ok, tell me when you are done.” Replied Cheesedemon. “Yes sir.” Replied the scientist.

Chapter 4
I am writing this chapter in past tense.
“So, you were waiting for us?” Said Jack. “Yes, we were waiting for you guys” Said the leader of the group, who was also, coincidentally, the same guy that they met the first time they were in the future. “So, are we going to see Isaac anytime soon?” Jack asked. “As a matter of fact, we were just about to take you to him” Said the guy. “By the way, what is your name?” Jack asked. “My name is John” Replied the other guy. “Ok, introductions are over, so let’s go see Isaac” Said Jack. “Right this way” Replied John.
Five minutes later….
They finally got to a huge, castle-like building. “So, this is it, we finally get to meet this friend of Jack’s” Said Trista. “Yup, now let’s hurry this up, I want to get back before school is over” Said Jesse. “Isaac is ready to see you” John said to the group. “Ok, let’s go” Said CE. At that statement, they all entered the building.
A few minutes later…
“So, Isaac, tell us how you are still alive” Said Jack. “Well,” Said Isaac, who still looked as young as he was 1087 years ago. “I created technology to keep me alive” “Wait, a minute, I just remembered, John was shot and is alive again” Said Jack. “We have created technology that is inside our military personal that revives them if shot” Said Isaac. “Ok, cool” Said Jack. Then an alarm went off. “W hat was that?” Jesse asked Isaac. “That was the alarm for if the portal is activated” Said Isaac. “When was that put in?” Asked CE. “It was put in after you guys activated the portal” Said Isaac. “Let’s find out who has come through this time” Said John.
Five minutes later…
“Hey guys” Said Neon. “I kind of guessed it was you guys” Said Trista. “Yeah, we got worried when you guys didn’t show up to class” Said Neon. Just then, a gun shot only just missed Neon. “Come with us guys!” Yelled CE, who was still a bit tired up until then.
Five minutes later… (Isaac’s house is on a hill by the way)
“Someone tried to kill us” Jack told Isaac. “I knew this would happen, it is the rebels” Said Isaac. “Then get us some weapons” Said Secret Solver. “Here, I had some custom made just for you guys” Isaac said, pulling out some weapons. “What kind?” Asked Jack. “I based them off a certain TV program that you like Jack” Replied Isaac. “What program?” Jack asked. “Stargate SG-1” Replied Isaac. “You based them off zats, cool!” Said Jack. “Take them now, before you guys are attacked, get back to the portal, and go home” Said Isaac. “Why?” Asked Zack. “Because, I need to figure out how to stop the rebels from finding the gate, and you guys have to be gone so they can’t get it out of you” Said Isaac. “Good enough for me” Said Jesse.
Six minutes later….
“Wow, we made I home without being attacked” Said Jack. “Yeah, but now we have to go to class” Said Trista. “See you guys later!” Said Jack.

Chapter 3
Trista was so close to falling asleep as she listened to her teacher’s chemistry lecture.
Ms. Rambute, or Ms. Ram Butt as many of the students called her behind her back, stood in front of the class explaining to them the difference between an atom and a molecule.
Trista had tuned out from the lecture at the very start. They had already taken text notes, watched a movie, and did a lab on the differences of molecules and atoms so the lecture had nothing new about it.
She glanced around at some of the other students. Six of them were asleep with their heads down, CE being one of them. Three or four other students were looking close to joining them with their eyelids drooping.
And I’m one of them, thought Trista. Ms. Rambute couldn’t make a lecture interesting if some space alien beamed down in the middle of class and demanded her to.
As she looked at some of the other students, she locked onto Bill, the new guy. He was sitting attentively writing down every little detail he thought was important for him to know. An oddball is what Trista would describe him to be like.
Speaking of odd things, her mind wandered to the portal and the strange watches.
She pulled up her sleeve and stared at the watch on her wrist. So far, they had visited four different dimensions. Of the four, her favorite was the one where everything was exactly the same as the one she lived in except that everyone called chocolate Lateochoc.
But the dimension she was most interested in and kept thinking about was the one in the future where Jack’s friend Isaac still lived. Who was he and how could he live for over 1000 years?
As if he had known what Trista had been thinking about, Jack, who had a seat next to Trista, tapped her shoulder.
“Hm?”
“Hey Trista. I say we skip next period and go back to the future dimension with my friend.”
”We can’t just skip next period, even if its lunch!”
“Well whether you’re going or not, I am. I need to find out why he was still alive and what kind of future it was.”
Trista sighed, “Well then, I suppose I’ll come if you’re going anyway.”
“Great! When class is over, wake CE up and meet-”
A giant shadow suddenly engulfed them in darkness. Jack and Trista glanced up to see Ram Butt hovering over them with an annoyed look on her face.
“The least you two could do is take a nap. I know you already know all this stuff, but others may not, so if you would only be so kind as to not talk I could finish my lecture!”
At that time the bell rang and she sighed, “Class dismissed. Have a nice lunch class.”
Everyone got up to leave, even some of the people who apparently hadn’t been asleep at their desk. CE however, kept snoring.
“Trista, wake CE up and meet me by the portal. I’m going to get the others.”
Ten minutes later Jack met Trista and a sleepy CE at the portal.
But the only ones with Jack were Jesse and Secret Solver.
“Where are the others?”
Jack shrugged his shoulders, “Zack said he had a test he had to study for. I couldn’t find the others.”
Jesse said, “I’m only here because its tuna casserole day in the Cafeteria.” He made a face to show his distaste.
“Who cares, the five of us is more than enough. Now, who wants to open the portal?”
“Oh I do!” CE waved her watch in the air, “I haven’t done it yet!”
CE pushed some buttons and the portal came to life.
“Alright guys. Let’s go!”
They all stepped into the portal.
And were surrounded by men with guns.
The leader of the group pulled out a walkie-talkie and spoke into it.
“Hey boss, you were right. They did come back.”

Chapter 2
He sat alone contemplating the past.
In front of him was an old, rusty portal. Just looking at it made a river of memories come flooding back to him.
How had it all gone wrong?
He remembered the dimension he grew up in clearly- all his old friends, his old school, and his old life. The things he would never see again and could never get back.
And he especially remembered the day he discovered the portal.
It had been on that day he lost it all. When he went through it not knowing that there would be no way of getting back home.
The portal at that time had been uncontrollable. It took him several trips through it to figure that out.
He’d stumbled through many dimensions, many of which were dangerous. He even found one where he spent time learning to be a wizard. Until finally he stumbled upon one that offered him the most help.
That dimension was a scientifically and technologically advanced one where cars flew, cats and dogs spoke, and people lived to be ages unheard of.
He found help there. He remembered how all kinds of people offered their assistance, if just because he was considered ‘fascinating’.
With their help he had built the watch that could control the portal. He had bid goodbye to the scientists and jumped through.
It was very simple to operate the watch. You entered which dimension you wished to go to if you’ve already been there with the watch. And with every new dimension the watch had the intelligence to record it and give it a name.
He had traveled to many different and unique places with that watch. Places that were filled with goodness and places controlled and dominated by evil.
Between all the places he went to, he was changed. For better and for worse, he’d tell himself.
Then he reached a dimension where he made a friend, his first since his home dimension. He had decided to bring that friend with him as he traveled the dimensions.
Then, only several decades ago, they had reached one where there was nothing but a little cottage in the middle of nowhere.
It was then that his friend revealed his true intentions.
After the ex-friend had attempted to steal the watch behind his back, he had battled him for the watch. In a last ditch effort he had thrown it into the portal to escape the former friend’s clutches.
The friend had been furious and had lunged at him. He had then used a spell to summon a sword and finish him for good.
But he had been unable to see what the friend had been holding. He had lunged at him with a concealed knife and before he could stop him the former friend had stabbed him.
He only knew one thing could save him from bleeding to death. He had a spell to use only in extreme measures. Surely death was an extreme measure?
He had used the spell, which froze his body. The only part of him that still worked was the aging process.
So now, as an old man, he sat unable to move off the chair. He was unable to die, unable to send for help, and unable to do anything.
But he was able to wait until someone, of good or of evil, to come and save him or finish him.

Dimension Defenders: Chapter 1
Unknown Universe: Event log 20185
“The portal has been activated” I am told by my messenger. “Do you know where it is yet?” I asked him. “No, we just know that it in the Milky Way Galaxy” He tells me. “Find out more” I order him. “Right away sir” He swiftly leaves my quarters.
Back on Planet Neolodge: School
“What’s going on?” Jack asks their class teacher. “The principal is being replaced.” “Why?” Jack replies. “No-one knows,” Replies the teacher. At that moment, someone starts speaking on the intercom, “All students shall return home immediately.” Jack leaves the class.
Five minutes later:
“Should we return home?” Jesse asks the group, “Or should we try our luck with the portal again?” “I say we should go through the portal.” Says Jack, “Anyone with me?” “Sure” Says the rest of the group. “We need to hurry, so we don’t get caught.” Says Jack.
Another five minutes later:
“Here we are, again” Says CE, turning on the light of the basement. “The portal looks exactly the same as we left it.” Says Jack. “Of course it is, we are the only ones that know about it.” Says Neon. “Let’s go.” Says Secret Solver. One by one they go through the portal, and a couple seconds later, they come out the other end. “Where are we?” Asks Zack. “I have no idea.” Says Jack. “I know where we are.” Says Trista. “Where?” Asks CE. “The future!” Trista replies. “This thing never fails to amaze me.” Says Jack. Just then, someone walks over to the group. “You are trespassing on military ground.” He says. Jack turns around. “I’m sorry, we didn’t know.” He says. “I’m sorry, I.. I didn’t know who you were.” Says the guy. “And that is?” Jack asks. “One of his friends.” The guy says. “One of whose friends?” Jack asks. “One of Isaac’s friends.” The guy replies. “What is he talking about Jack?” Asks Jesse. “One of my other friends, he is still alive.” Says Jack. “Ok” Says Jesse. “What year is it?” Jack asks the guy. “The Year is 3095” The guy replies. “Of course it is, Isaac put his brain to good use.” Says Jack. Then, a guy shoots the guy Jack is talking to. “We need to go back!” Jack yells. “Got it!” Says CE. They all push their watches, and they are back at the school. “Oh man, I could’ve gotten hold of some top secret weapons.” Says Jack. “We could have died though.” Says CE. “Next time we go through, we need some help.” Says Jack. “Well, we need to go home now.” Says CE. “Okay, see you guys.” Says Jack. They all go home.

Prologue
“Well, here we are,” Said Jack, as he stood outside a school.
With him were Gabby, Neon, Secret Solver, CE, Jesse, Zack and Trista. “Our new school.” Jack continued. “I have an idea,” Jesse started, “Let's skip class and look around.” “Sure.” Jack decided. A couple minutes later, they found themselves in a basement, where a giant round circle was. “What is it?” CE asked. “I have no idea.” Said Jack. “I think I found something.” Said Jesse. "What is it?" Said Jack. “A set of watches with some random buttons on them.” Replied Jesse. “I'll test them out.” Jack decided. Then, the circle started making weird sounds, and it opened up a portal. “Lets go through.” Said Jesse. “No thanks.” Said CE. “I will” Said Jack. “We're going to class.” Said everyone else. “Ok, see you later.” Said Jesse. “So, it's just me and you.” Said Jack. “Time to go through.” Said Jesse. So they went through. And one second later they were in an unknown place. “Where are we?” Asked Jesse. "I don't know." Said Jack. “We do now.” Said Jesse. “What is...?” Jack stopped mid-sentence. “Oh my god! Dinosaurs!”
“Um guys, where are Jack and Jesse?” Asked Secret Solver. “I don't know.” Replied CE. “Maybe they aren't back from the portal yet.” Said Gabby. By the time they got to the portal, Jack and Jesse were still missing, but the portal was closed. “Look, it's Jack's stuff, they went through the portal!” Said CE. “We need to go through.” Said Neon. “They forgot their watches, they are stuck, we better take the watches with us.” Said Trista. So they picked up all the watches and went through the portal. When they got there, they had no idea where they were. “I see them!” Yelled Zack. “Oh my god! Dinosaurs!” They all heard Jack yell. “Jack, Jesse, over here!” Yelled CE. Jack and Jesse came running over to the portal, and Gabby opened it, and they all went through. When they got back, CE said, “We have to keep this a secret.”
